See a rug in your bedroom

A bedroom rug is judged by what it does at the sides of the bed, because that is where your feet land in the morning. Aim for roughly 45–60 cm of rug showing along each side.

That means the rug usually has to be much larger than people first guess: under a double bed, 200 × 300 is often the smallest size that works, and a 160 × 230 disappears entirely.

How it works

1. Copy the product link from the store. 2. Paste it on the home page — name, photos and the listed dimensions load automatically. 3. Add one photo of your bedroom and put the frame where the rug should stand. 4. About thirty seconds later you get your room back with the rug in it.

Frequently asked

Under the whole bed or only part of it?

Both work. Under the whole bed reads as calmer; from the halfway point down saves money and still covers the sides.

Two runners instead?

A reasonable option in a small room. Preview both — the choice is easier to see than to reason about.

Will the pattern be right?

No. Sizes come out right, patterns get redrawn. Use the shop photo for the pattern.
