Can I try Amazon furniture in my room?
Yes. Paste the Amazon link, add a room photo, and you get the item in your space. The one thing to watch on Amazon is the dimensions, which vary far more in quality than on a single-brand site.
Amazon listings come from thousands of different sellers, so the spec block is inconsistent. Some give width, depth and height cleanly; others give a shipping box size, which is not the same thing and will make the preview wrong.
Check that the numbers describe the assembled item. If the listing only offers package dimensions, take the size from the description or the manufacturer instead, and type the width in by hand.
The product photo is usually good: Amazon requires a plain white background on the main image, which is the best possible input.
Amazon has an AR viewer of its own for a subset of products. It needs their app and a supported phone, and it only covers items with a 3D model. A photo preview covers the rest of the catalogue.
